This Summer Barr Mansion Wedding was so romantic. We met Shu and Jeehuon for the first time at their wedding. They are such fantastic and fun people! The wedding was beautiful with soft greens and and grays. Once the reception started it was a full on party!! We love the Barr Mansion, and it was a perfect day. Shu and Jee thank you for having us be a part of your wedding, we had an amazing time with you both! Enjoy!
From The Couple:
Jeehuon and Shu met on June 4, 2008 in Lafayette, IN. Jeehuon was giving a tour of a Caterpillar facility to all of the summer interns at CAT, which included Shu. Shu thought Jeehuon was just so dreamy in his cowboy boots and West Texas accent, she even pretended to be interested in turbines and diesel engines…Not much later, they began their long distance relationship that lasted for over 4 years and spanned over 5 different cities. On a special trip to San Francisco with friends, Jeehuon proposed to Shu in the magical Muir Woods. The rest of the weekend was spent biking across the golden gate bridge, enjoying incredible food, and celebrating the engagement.
Tell us about the planning for your wedding. How did you go about selecting vendors and choosing a venue, style, colors, etc.
I’ve always known that I wanted to get married at the Barr Mansion and knew I had to have Forever Photography capture the special day. They’ve had so much experience photographing the venue and have an elegant, timeless, and whimsical style that matched mine. Colors and decor were easy and minimal because there was so much beauty that the Barr mansion already provided. I knew I wanted to stick with pastels for the summer and incorporate neutrals, golds, and mint.
