We had the chance to photograph Jessica and Tom’s Engagement pictures a couple months ago. Later in in talking with Jessica, we realized we were going to be in Italy around the same time! Although her wedding dress was not ready, we thought it would be so awesome to photograph them while we were there. I mean it is Italy! Jessica and Erika are long time friends, and spent 3 weeks in Italy! They are both getting married next year, so two friends set off to explore Europe.
Now begins the story…..
We had not had the chance to talk to Jessica and Erika since we left. They had already been in Italy for around 3 weeks. We had planned to call one another a couple days prior to the photoshoot. The day before the shoot Jerry and I decided to head to Lake Como (Bellagio, Italy) early just in case, and to scope it out for pictures. Needless to say along the way we lost our phone, or it got stolen, either way it was gone. A little panicked now, since we had no way to reach Jessica and Erika, we decided once we got to Bellagio, we would head to the internet cafe. Once we put our bags in our hotel , we walked out the door in search of the closest internet cafe (if there even was one), to try and reach them…
We had no sooner taken 5 steps out the hotel doors, sitting two cafe’s down was Jessica and Erika!! No Joke! Isnt life funny and fantastic!
We then sat down and all four of us talked about our crazy experiences and adventures. We just thought we would share that little story before showing their pictures in the beautiful Bellagio, Italy!
To Jessica and Erika: We had such an awesome time with you both! We love how your pictures came out, and are so glad that we were all able to make this happen. Congratulations to you both!
